2021 Manchester City Cup
Event Overview:
The 2021 Nexen Manchester City Cup returns to San Diego over Memorial Day weekend.
Tournament Dates: May 29 – 31, 2021
Boys games will be held at SoCal Sports Complex (Oceanside) and Girls will play at Surf Cup Sports Park (Del Mar).
Parking fees $12 at SoCal Sports Complex | $10 at Surf Cup Sports Park
This is a stay and play event. All hotel reservations must be made through Maverick Sports Travel
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
U8-U10 (2014-2012) play 7 v 7
U11-U12 (2011-2010) play 9 v 9
U13-U19 (2009-2003) play 11 v 11
All Teams will compete at the 2020/21 age group level (2011's will play 9v9 and 2009's will play 11v11) and must also present laminated USYSA player cards for the 2020/21 season (no mixed cards),
The Nexen Manchester City Cup 2021 will comply with the California Department of Health Public Health policies. As we continue to monitor the ever-changing landscape surrounding COVID-19, we will be releasing a fully updated policy guideline closer to the event. Should the event be cancelled due to COVID-19, a full refund will be issued minus credit card processing fees)
All teams are guaranteed three games. This event is a Summer Surf Cup qualifier for the Champion and Finalists from the TOP divisions in each age group.
Registration deadline May 12, 2021 midnight.

B/G 2012 - 2014 $895.00
B/G 2010 - 2011 $995.00
B/G 2002 - 2009 $1395.00
There will not be an International Super Group for 2021 since travel is still restricted due to COVID. Look for the International Super Group to return in 2022!

Refund Policy:
Accepted teams that request to drop from the tournament prior to the May 1st application deadline will be entitled to a full refund less a $75 administration fee and less the credit card processing fee.
Any accepted team is not entitled to a refund for any reason (unless COVID related) after the May 1st application deadline.
Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance; Notwithstanding the foregoing, if a governmental order cancels the event or prevents your team from traveling to the event, you will receive a full refund minus any credit card processing transaction fee.
